Stephanie - sorry about not responding to your post sooner but I'm still learning how all this stuff works. Please stop in and see me soon. Last weekend was so exciting for me when kids, grandkids, great grandkids and a few nieces and nephews of BOTH Mort Keller and Bernie and Florence Heines ate at Sugar n' Spice while in town for a wedding. They gave me pictures and told me stories and most importantly were very happy with what I've done to keep the dream alive. Sugar n' Spice is one of a kind with a rich history and great food. It all started with Mort's vision and from what I've learned Mick was just as passionate. I hope you enjoy my touches to this icon of Cincinnati. Same great menu with all the favorite wispy thin pancakes and huge fluffy omelletes along with new items for breakfast, lunch or dinner, that I hope will become historic as well. Thanks for your support.

I am so excited that Sugar n Spice is getting back to it's roots. I began working at Sugar n Spice when I was 16 in 1988 for Mick. I love Mick and I love "the spice". After Mick had to sell the restaruant I did not like the atmosphere that was being created it actually was very sad watching it erode.

I still consider Sugar n Spice as one of best learning experiences of my life--at 16 you learn a lot about life waiting tables. Ruth and Bob were regulars when I worked their are they still eating fruit salad and cottage cheese? Thanks for not letting this great piece of history go. Can't wait to stop in.

Grew up in Cincinnati on Avon Drive in Paddock Hills and depended on SnS for sustenance and calories. (The quickest route from home to SnS was out our back yard, down into and up the creek that separated our house from the SnS parking lot, and into the restaurant.)

Left Cincinnati in 1996, but on EVERY trip back, an absolute necessity is lunch at Sugar 'n' Spice. Strange combo, but to get in the flavors and the memories, return lunches include Cuddlin' Puppy, Wispy Thin Pancakes, and a Chocolate Charmer. I keep coming back because the menu has not changed.

Love it.
